Definition:
(EN-doh-skope) Adj. endoscopic (en-do-SKAH-pik). A thin, lighted tube (flexible and usually fiber optic) used to look inside the body.
The procedure is an endoscopy (en-DAHS-ko-pee). Compare to cystoscope.
