Abbreviations: LHRH, LH-RH

Definition: (loo-ten-EYE-zing) A hormone that controls the production of sex hormones, such as testosterone. LHRH can be synthetically produced (analog) to suppress the testicular production of testosterone. Zoladex and Lupron are two US brands.
