    ACOR offers about 100 mailing relating to cancer. While only a couple relate directly to PCa, there might be others at their site someone might want to subscribe to.

    Described as "Support for wives, families, friends, and significant others of men with prostate cancer - and, of course, the men themselves."

     * Offers digest form. Archives available.




 * PROSTATE CANCER INTIMACY LIST (PCAI)
    Described as "open and frank discussion about the problems associated with intimacy and prostate cancer."
     * Owned and hosted by Prostate Pointers
     * Unmoderated list. No digest or archives.




 * PROSTATE HELP MAILING LIST (PHML)
Don Cooley, under the name of Prostate-Help, has about 20 discussion groups including a Newsletter on prostate cancer with a total membership of around 3500. The master group is PHML in which all should join. You can join the other groups (treatments, International, ladies and others) as need arises. To enroll in any of the groups go to www.phcagroups.org.




 * PROSTATE PROBLEMS MAILING LIST (PPML)
    Described as "a medically-intensive mailing list focusing primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer."
     * Over 1,500 subscribers
     * Owned by "facilitators" and hosted at acor.org.
     * Unmoderated but closely monitored. Archives and digest form.



 * RP (RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY LIST)
     * Unmoderated list for radical prostatectomy patients. The sole purpose of this list is to narrowly focus on the concerns of those who have already had an RP or have selected RP as their treatment.

    A Web site and mailing list "offering information and support to those interested in brachytherapy for prostate cancer."

 * YANA PCA SUPPORT GROUP MESSAGE BOARD
    The YANA (You Are Not Alone) Web site has a message board where greetings or questions and answers can be posted and read, rather than coming to your mail box.
