FAQ: The Prostate Cancer Proclamations at Phoenix5

 * Where did they came from?
 * Why were they here at Phoenix5?
 * Why are they gone and where are they now??;

WHERE DID THEY CAME FROM?

The bulk of these came on a CD from the National Prostate Cancer Coalition (NPCC). Others came from people who learned that I was posting them to Phoenix5. Some came as originals. Some as photocopies. Some already scanned.

WHY WERE THEY HERE AT PHOENIX5?

Phoenix5 is not an "advocacy" site. This started when Donna Pogliano, who got three proclamations in Wisconsin, told me that one was at a site and invited me to view it. I went and it was a nightmare to try to find it and then the copy was ghastly. I said I would be happy to put them at Phoenix5 along with the ones from Ohio. (I live in Cincinnati.) Then I learned that others were being obtained and so I made the same offer, to post them so that others could access them. From there, it just grew. We are not an "official" site in any way. It was merely a public service, if you will.

WHY ARE THEY GONE AND WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

The 2001 proclamations were moved to the National Prostate Cancer Coalition (NPCC).

Those that were at Phoenix5 were for the year 2000 and were saved. Should you need one in particular, write to me, the Webmaster, at robert@phoenix5.org and tell me what city/state and I'll see what I can do to get you a copy.
